Atul - Good Meal (Official Video)

Atul - Good Meal (Official Video)

Saturday, 28 November 2015

We witnessed a mass outrage when an actor commented his wife finds this nation unsafe. Really nasty. Instead of sorting it in privacy of his home he sparked a controversy.
So, what is our fault?
For starters, we are "masses" in everyones dictionary. The business tycoons, politicians, actors, sportspersons, all have one target...

The Masses.

Everyone wants to either impress or enrage us...
Teeming millions of people in this country who belong mostly to the middle class. Everyone knows that if they can get 100 INR profit from each of us, they can amass billions for their successors.

I am not asking anyone to stop entertainment. We overdo things. We need an ultra rich guy to speak about how wealth, fortune, power or fame are not at all important. They who spend very little time with families to have astounding success and huge fortunes "confess" on public platforms that they live a simple life. Strangely, every wedding in their family is attended only by the VIPs of all fields.

There is a winnng formula for all the affluent. Their families are coincidentally composed of politicians from all parties, so that atleast one will be in power, along with actors, and entreprenuers.
Unaware of these details, we all subconsciously decide upon living a quiet and simple life without the need of expanding our abilities.

Why do they do that? Ok, imagine, if all the affluent start bragging openly about how enjoyable is a rich life, all of us will aspire to become that and who will be the masses? NONE.
Who will buy the cheap products?? Who will buy tickets in theatres? Who will believe that a beautiful actress uses make-up saaman of 100 bucks? Or a rich actor buying kiraana stuff online to save money???  Or get shocked when we read of an affair or a wardrobe malfunction????

Everyone targets us. Everyone's craving for attention to benefit. I am not against them, Neither am I advising everyone to stay off entertainment. All I am wondering is if we are so mportant why are our roads nasty?? Why are the railway stations so dirty and airports damn neat??  Why do only expensive cars have air bags??  Why are our homemakers still depressed??  Why isn't proper education/roads/ hospitals available in remote villages? Why do our farmers die??

And OUR fault. Perhaps we can divert our attention to little things around and spread them.
An aunty in the neighbourhod is feeding 20 dogs everyday..We don't know much of her. Our brave soldiers are fighting for us. The NGO in our city is fighting for rape victims and acid attackers. We are not bothered.
All we are bothered is about watching trailors of the upcoming movies, or the latest cricket match from which we lose sometime and gain not a rupee. We speak bad about our own girls when they are happily single just like our favorite star. That stupid debate among some crackheads which leads to no conclusion grabs al our attention. All this leads to the rich becoming richer and we have complaints about that.

How many positive or real news actually make it to the headlines?? Why don't positive videos go viral?? Why are we so concerned with what an actor/cricketer wears, or says or eats or shits? Millions of followers of an already super rich celebrity. And people hardly know of a successful entreprenuer
who made it big and has a truly inspiring story.

And yeah, it's a country where 1.2 billion population is following may be a 2000 odd people like herds (which I read somewhere ..Following on Twitter and Facebook will be more ofcourse!)
So are we herds like cattle??? Or we can think over it..
I totally understand if you are wondering who is she to write all this and question the very normal stuff when she is not a star..Yeah ..right..

Atul Dwivedi - Hybrid Pop in Hollywood.

Have you heard of a small town boy interested in making music for Hollywood?
Small town to Hollywood.
Many would have told him that it is impossible, but why would a dreaming mind and a heart that is set on music listen?
Now the dream has come true.
I remember the time five years ago when me and this guy who plays guitar really well were talking about future plans at the backstage of a Corporate Annual function. He said "Music, only music." I couldn't believe it back then. A software professional wants to be a musician?
A couple of years later, I was surprised to see some online music news with his picture..yes..I recognized him..Atul Dwivedi.

He hails from a small city called Rewa in Madhya Pradesh. His dad Chandrasekhar Dwivedi serves in Excise Police. His mom Somwati Dwivedi is a nursery school teacher. He has two brothers and a sister.
He started playing Indian Percussion, and followed with vocals, guitar and keyboard soon.
He was always a topper in studies which led him to IIIT Hyderabad. His musical dreams never left him, and he wanted to make music for Hollywood to offer something really different. He worked with IT companies to save money and moved to LA.
I am amazed. Totally.
No money, and dreaming of Hollywood?
His latest album Emotions has released on October 2, 2015 and making waves.
His song "Good Meal " has made it to the Top 10 food songs ever. (Ranked no.3 and we should all be really proud of this boy.)

Please watch the latest song "Emotions"..

Everyday many of us spend time in self-doubt. Let us learn from this guy who fought all the odds for his dream. There is no "Nay" from outside. It comes from our doubtful minds. Let's say "Yay" to ambitions however difficult they are..Let's make our people proud just like Atul did. He succeeded in giving Indian music to the world. He has worked with the greatest talents in Hollywood within a short span by creating music which is unique.
Atul, we wish you all the best for your ventures and keep rocking!

The exemplery Arun Pudur .

(A stranger can have profound effect on a homemaker, what change can he bring in you? Let's make these heroes famous. It is for this country's good. It makes no difference to him as he is already great with or without our knowing. It will be people like us who will be benefitted. Our youth needs to be inspired. We all are full of potential which needs to be awakened. Many become dull in life after few minor failures and forget to dream.
Just like Swami Vivekananda said "Arise, Awake" , these achievers are giving us the message silently.)

Hey, do you know who is Shahrukh Khan.? Well, you surely do. A great Indian actor who is into production, and owns an IPL team, right?

You heard about Arun Pudur?
He is the founder of Celframe, which is the world's largest manufacturer of software products after Microsoft.
Recently he was in news for being one of the Top 10 Billionares (under 40 years of age) in the world.

Pic from Arun Pudur's Facebook Page.

Yeah, he is an Indian, spent most of his life in Bangalore and Chennai..
I find this really strange. We will for sure, know about an Indian's achievement here or abroad within no time if it is relating to entertainment or cricket.
When it is pertaining to achievement in other fields, the information does not reach us as long as they are not on some Top so-and-so list.
I am writing this blog as I am astonished about the influence he can have on people. Please read the note below for how I benefited from reading about him.

Arun's father is a respected technician in the Kannada/Tulu film industry.
His mother is a homemaker who instilled discipline in her kids since a young age.
Arun started working as a mechanic on a small garage in Bangalore at a young age of 13 out of passion towards learning.
He efficiently managed studies as well. As a student he ventured into various short-term businesses.
He is a Commerce graduate , but was attracted to Software Technology.
He started his own business, and aced the field within a short time.
He made his first million dollars at the age of 22, and first billion at 26. Now he is 37 and continues to invest in various companies.
Yeah, he has seen failure too, but did not stop.
He is a noted philanthropist.
Celframe is currently operating from Kaulalampur, Malaysia.
He is married to a wonderful lady Elena who shares his noble ideas.
(All facts from Eenadu Magazine and Arun Pudur's social media accounts)
Though he does not give many interviews and maintains low profile, he is a lovely human being who keeps in touch with fans on Facebook, and interacts with us when free.(Yes, I am lucky to have exchanged few lines with him!)

Unbelievable, we think. Now we know it is possible.

The lessons I learnt:-
1.You can do anything despite your background being humble, with little or no experience in your chosen field.
2. Be smart enough to know where your business is easier to operate.
3.Diversify.Spread your wings to different things. The world is vast enough.
4. Failures happen. Learn and move on.
5.At your age, be it any age group, some are in unnecessary emotional turmoil, some are undecided, the rest few are smart. Be one of them.
6. Never wait for someone to start a brilliant life for you. You are the beginning.
7.Don't let happiness limit your growth. Though it was a comfortable life, he chose to work harder than we can imagine.

You can follow him on Facebook and Twitter. His quotes are unique truths. Everytime I read his quotes I make a change in the way I think, I feel nearer to my goals.

(It was a Sunday in June 2015, and there was a Telugu magazine on my bed. I had ten days left for my exam.
We shifted to Chennai hardly 20 days ago, I had a severe wisdom tooth pain along with unpacking woes. It was the moment I wanted to give up, but I read an article about Arun Pudur amidst tears of confusion and decided to write my exams. Passed ICWA Inter, won Notable Newbie for my blog on too :-)
I am a 30 year old homemaker, who has too many ambitions but little energy to match, as it is a hectic life as a mom. I blog (, I am a student, and just started working for a Start-up App. Nowadays I say "Yes" to all the opportunities I come across.)

Top 10 "Life" Myths Busted.

Hey, how you have been?
I turned 30 recently. I am feeling refreshed, new, and good. Reason? Yeah, the twenties are never gonna be back :-( but left so many life lessons.
I really love to share my learnings from good, bad and ugly situations of life. I know I will be talked about in a "different " manner after all these revealations, but I think some people will agree with me. Also, if you are still in your twenties, you may feel atleast two of the mentioned points are true. I am not saying this from Spiritual point of view..Just crisp truths of life.

1. Do not expect anything from anyone.
Lol..This makes me cry with humour. Nothing else makes me ROFL.
Parents expect children to be healthy. Students expect to pass the exam. Likewise, there are expectations from humans too. Parents search from post to pillar for a good guy/girl for their child,,background checks etc..What does this all mean? We do expect from others, so do everyone.
It is not a crime, but motivation to live a better life than we think. If no one expects anything, world would not grow this way. I would not have a laptop to share these thoughts with all, if none expected to grow beyond wheel and stone.

2. The Rich are unhappy
Another joke I have often heard since childhood. I grew up hearing this whenever I expressed my want for more money in life, and had great ambitions. Yes, it did blind me for a decade, but I am back to square one of my overambitious self. We can be happy, rich or otherwise. Money is a lifeless thing and has no role in our sadness or happiness. It is how we spend it and how smart we think.

3. Happiness comes first.
I have never been happy while preparing for my June Icwa Inter examinations. I had severe wisdom tooth pain, we just shifted, I lived on soups, and the unpacking..too much. I was tempted once to give up that discomfort and go for "happiness" of exploring new life. But I resisted the urge after reading about Arun Pudur. I recently got the result and I am on Cloud Nine. This is happiness. Often at the mass level we are confusing happiness with comfort zones and refusing to let it go.

4. Parents are Gods.
I say this with sadness. N number of parental abuses are happening everyday in India. Does this remain a universal truth anymore that Parents are Gods? Look at the Sheena Bora case.
Parents are Gods, as they gave us this life like the Creator. They nurture us carefully and will do everything for us. If they are mean or evil, like abusers, everyone should raise voice than saying parents are Gods, listen to them whatever they say, End of the day, we are all human. We have to understand that certain situations can make an evil of everyone, and all the times intentions are not the same. Even Parents should stop thinking themselves as Gods and try to control every aspect of kids' lives even after they grow up.
It is fortunate that nowadays parents are very friendly to kids, and are open to suggestions after a stage. It is no longer cool to be a controlling parents, but the opposite is.

5. I can love unconditionally.
Unconditional love is superhuman. We can love a person, perhaps in any given condition except if they turn against us or harm us. See, there is a condition. Also, we cannot love everyone  unconditionally.
That means unconditional love is limited to a few of our choice. How many conditions was that?
Nothing comes in life without a price tag. The moment we know it, all the illusions disappear.

6. The world loves the virtuous.
Really? Again, I may be virutuous. Would you follow me or Deepika Padukone, (who is virtuous, gorgeous and famous ) on Twitter?
There are so many unsung heroes around us.We prefer to worship a famous achiever than a making  really virtuous person around us famous.

7. Love is everything in life.
Our bollywood has the best answer to this. Pyar se pet nahi bharta. Love is an emotion plus a responsibility to fulfil promises. Absence of either one makes it invalid.

8. You should love your work, not money.
We all love to hear certain humble things from super achievers. Just a moment of thought. I love what I do without pay at my home for my family. But outside, we all work for money. Imagine that your employer is unable to pay you. How many of us can actually continue working?
This statement often comes from people who have seen the highest of highs.Yes, I totally agree about being in love with our work, but atleast a small amount of money makes it interesting rather than being unpaid.

9. Don't be attached to material things, they are temporary.
Yeah, that movie will last only three hours, I know it will be gone later so I enjoy it now.The fact that even life is temporary makes it even thrilling to live. I will lust now for whatever I have. Coz when they are gone, I cannot.

10. Bitter truths cannot be digested.
Yeah, I agree, It takes years .May be some antacids. It is so painful to accept some truths that I have goose bumps right now. We have two choices. Human mind is designed to sugar coat what we cannot take.
But once we taste bitterness behind that illusion, it may do a lot of good for us.Think for yourself.
Happy Ganesh Chaturthi!

Why spend with an App?Earn with Spini!

Hi All,
Today I got an SMS from a known shopping App.
"Shanti, stop everything! Go Shop!
"One Plus One!"
"Shop as your kids sleep.Midnight Sale"!
So silly sometimes!
Their messages had so much enthusiasm, they could have people happily shop in the wee hours.
But then, as usual, I have a question. Isn't it too much?
I was wondering where to get money to shop for SO many apps on my phone.
One for food, two for fashion shopping, one for cabs, all of which I use to spend money.
One day I recieved a call from a gentleman, asking me to come down to his office, regarding an App they started recently.
I had as many questions as you guys have now, but I went to checkout anyway.
Then they introduced me Spini, a mobile App, which is the first of it's kind in India.
It actually helps people to monetize the information they have about their friends and family's requirements.
A homemaker can be a moneymaker.
A retired person can be financially independent.
A student can fund his shopping.
Our aim is to help everyone earn.
Please read about Spini at
Spini is operating successfully at Chennai, Bangalore and Hyderabad .Coming soon to other cities with your support.

Unforgettable Copenhagen.

Today I am sharing a travel experience for the first time in my blog.
What is safe, unforgettable, breathtakingly beautiful and incredibly safe for women?
It is a city called Copenhagen, the capital of Denmark.
I visited Denmark in May 2014.
I still tell my family N times how I want to go there and get a whiff of that Scandinavian air.
The only very small problem we faced was that vegetarian food not being available at an instant.
Ofcourse, there are many Pakistani restaurants using Indian names and serving deliciousIndo Pak cuisine, they gladly serve us vegetarian food.
What really touched my heart, at the same time made me hang my head in shame was, Copenhagen people proudly calling their city, "Rape free".
The feminist in me cried, the Indian in me felt insulted as it was the unfortunate time when a Danish woman was assaulted in Delhi.
I am in love with Denmark and the Nordic Regions. I so love Scandinavian way of life.
Everyone from Directors of well known companies to students, were seen riding bicycles.
Yeah, Denmark has the best standard of Bicycle manufacture.
Various famed brands of Beer are Made in Denmark. Carlsberg is the most popular.
With a population of 55 lakh people, Danish are the happiest in the world.
Copenhagen tops the list of "The most liveable cities in the world."
How sweet! Just like the famed Danish!
Also, it will be bright till 8 p.m in Denmarkduring summers, and it gets dark by 5 p.m in winters.
Kids are gonna love the LEGO and the Tivoli Park in Copenhagen.

Nyhavn is a place in Copenhagen where people love to hangout.
The Danish are passionate about music, and actively take part in related activities.
Since I cannot go and stay there, I watch a lot of Danish Movies on Youtube. I shall share some of the best in oher posts of mine. Please enjoy this visual treat and plan a trip soon!

Porn Again.

857 Porn sites banned.
A breaking, sensational news which assumed all the more importance than Women and Child Sexual abuse going on everyday in this nation.
What exactly do we lose with a ban on porn?
Is it ethical? Oh God, I just forgot this nation helped a porn star become a real star!!
Ok, let's leave it there.
Anyway, we have a ban on piracy too. The loyal viewers can find someway or the other to enjoy the carnal carnival despite the ban. So useless.

I would never say watching Porn will make one a sexual offender, but let us see the most spine chilling case.
A serial offender, 24 years of age was caught in Delhi. He killed at least 25 kids after abusing them. He revealed that he watched porn on his mobile, got aroused and did the heinous crime as he could not afford to go to prostitutes.
I support personal freedom to watch whatever we want but this ban actually had me feeling happy. May be porn will not fall into wrong hands leading to crimes.
That exactly is the problem with porn and alcohol.
A combination used by the worst people to satiate themselves leading to tears in many families.

But then, democracy wins following a mass outrage.
Only paedophile sites will be blocked.
A half sigh of relief atleast.
Though the government withdrew its decision on ban, I really appreciate them for they are looking into minor things like this.
The Verdict:
It is an inefficient step if the aim is to stop crimes .It is like banning jewellery to stop thefts.

  • Better you guys start with Gutkha first. It has no medicinal properties. It does nothing to a poor man, surely makes a rich guy richer at the cost of a poor man's health. It will keep our streets clean too!
  • If you really got to do something strong, electrocute all the criminals who raped a kid. Perhaps the outrage will not be this strong except by some morons who say "Criminals deserve a second chance."So that they can repeat the crime, Eh?
  •  Kindly note that it is difficult in an overpopulated country to change everyone's preferences. Rather, BAN RAPE, CHILD ABUSE and VIOLENCE.
  • Keep an eye on the sex offences statistics per city/town/village. Humiliate some criminals publicly and if its a rape, repeat the second point.
  • Dear friends, please co-operate with the Government when they ban child porn. I hope it violates no one's rights. Let's hope the ban helps curb Child Abuse.
